QUALIFICATION STANDARD (QS)
Programme of Instruction (PoI) Title:
Medical Laboratory Technician
Code: 86A P0
Aim:
The purpose for this QS is to describe the job of a
Medical Laboratory Technician (M Lab Tech) who
will be employed at Afghan National Security
Forces’ hospitals and clinics.
Nominating Authority:
MEDCOM or OTSG will establish the course
loading prioritization.
Security Clearance:
The security level required for this occupation is
TBD
Production Forecast:
The estimate of the number of graduates required
per year will be determined from the Tashkiel
Organization and Administration:
The training requirements for this course will be
satisfied through appropriate training strategies to
be defined in the Training Plans managed by
AFAMS HQ.
This course may be conducted at the following
regional schools: TBD
Planning Considerations:
This course must be scheduled to allow sufficient
time for:
