贾宗超,教授。1961 年出生,1987 年出国留学,1992 年在加拿大获博士学位,
1993 年至 1994 年在牛津大学做博士后,1995 年任加拿大皇后大学助理教授,2000
年副教授,2004 年教授。曾获得多项科研大奖及荣誉,包括 Queen’s National
Scholar (1995-2000), Medical Research Council of Canada Scholar, (1996-2001),
Ontario Premier Research Excellence Award (2000), Basmajian Award for Excellence in
Medical Research (2000), Chancellor’s Research Award (2001), Canada Institutes of
Health Research Investigator (2001), Natural Science and Engineering Research Council
of Canada Steacie Fellow (2004-2006),Killam Research Fellow (2011-2013) and
Canada Research Chair (2001-至今). 共发表 218 篇高水平文章 (包括 8 篇 Nature,
Science and Cell)。贾宗超是最早获得加拿大国家首席科学家 (Canada Research Chair)
荣誉的科学家之一。在各种国际学术大会上多次作学术报告。
贾宗超教授于 2010 年夏入选国家 “千人计划”。三年多的时间里,从无到有,在
北京师范大学建立了具有先进水平实验条件的结构生物学实验室。在此前, 他还
获得过“长江学者”和“杰青”等荣誉。
