__________ RI.7.2 Provide an objective summary of the text.
Directions: While you are reading your book, stop every 10 pages to summarize what you have read in 4-5
complete sentences. If you are reading a book over 300 pages, you may stop every 20 pages. If you are
reading a book under 70 pages, you must stop every 5 pages. Remember, a summary should begin with the
main idea of the section, three or more juicy details that support that main idea, and a filling conclusion
that wraps it up.
