Parents,
We all know that dairy cows are the source of milk in many homes on a daily basis. Cows also produce
pie, but not the apple or cherry kind. For the first time, Kedron Cheerleading is organizing a Cow Pie
Bingo event.
We are hoping to make this a family event that involves everyone. There will be games, moon bounces,
food, grilling, face painting, Regular Bingo and much more fun for all!
This is a BYOB event. Adults over 21 are welcome to bring a cooler and set up camp as you feel
comfortable!
This fundraiser will offer the opportunity for its winner to take home as much as $2,500 CASH! Prize will
be determined based on the number of tickets sold.
Each Cheerleading family that participates and sells the minimum amount of tickets REQUIRED (5) will
benefit from this event. Ticket sales, snack bar & 50/50 proceeds will be split evenly among those
cheerleading families and credit will be given on each cheerleaders account. REMEMBER ~ ONLY THOSE
THAT PARTICIPATE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROFIT MADE FROM THIS EVENT. NO FAMILIES WILL BE
GIVEN CASH!
We hope that this will make a big impact on the expenses of traveling to Florida for Nationals.
For those of you who are not familiar with this type of fundraising event, here are the details.
The event is on Saturday, October 1, 2011, Spectators will be able to access the Nall field starting at
4:00pm (1127 MacDade Blvd. Woodlyn, Pa 19094) Games, etc will begin at 5:00 p.m. Get there early and
reserve your tailgate spots!
Nall field will be painted off to look like a grid of squares with numbers assigned to each square. A
minimum of 1000 tickets will be sold for the event with each ticketholder entitled to a box that is one
square foot in size.
The tickets are $10.00 each. Numbers will be given randomly and then assigned spaces on the grid.
The cow "in-charge" is led onto the field (by an attendant), the square where the cow lays the "pie" will
determine the winner. In the event that the cow pie lands on the border of two or more boxes, the
prize will be shared.
We are giving every cheerleader 10 tickets and asking everyone to sell at least 5 tickets. Additional
tickets and squares will be available for sale the evening of the event.
All money, ticket stubs and unsold tickets must be handed in at practice on Tuesday September 27.
More tickets are available if needed.
Please contact Jim Dumigan, Lisa Kienzle, or Stephanie Appenzeller with any questions.
We are hoping for a wonderful and successful event.
Remember, sell tickets to family members, friends, co-workers etc. They do not need to be present to
win, but their name & phone number must be on the ticket stub.
Thank You
