“Hatchet” By Gary Paulsen Survival Guide Project Due: 12/20/13 You will be going to visit a friend in the Canadian wilderness. The only way to get to your friend is by plane. Since you have read Hatchet, you know that there is a slight chance that you could be involved in a plane crash. You will need to plan ahead in-case this happens. You will need to take with you a waterproof backpack containing no more than 10 essential items for survival and cannot weigh more than 10 lbs.
