SCHOOL BUS EVACUATION DRILLS
Middle School East and West – October 6, 2014 at 6:45am (approx.)
All Elementary Schools – October 7, 2014 at 8:40am (approx.)
Franklin Central – October 8, 2014 at 2:35pm (approx.)
FTCSC will be having the first of two state required evacuation drills starting Monday October 6th, 2014.
These drills are designed to help prepare our drivers and the students for the unlikely event of an
emergency situation. Please take a moment to discuss the importance of this training with your child
and encourage positive participation and teamwork. These drills will be conducted professionally under
the schools supervision and will be handled similarly to a fire drill. All students riding will receive verbal
and hands on demonstrations of all aspects of emergency situations, equipment, and procedures. Due
to safety concerns our specially equipped buses will not be exiting the bus.
