SHETLAND PONY CLASSES
This show is affiliated to The Shetland Pony Stud Book Society, and all classes will
be conducted in accordance with the Show Rules and Regulations of the Shetland
Pony Society. All entries in the Shetland Classes must be registered with the Shetland
Pony Stud Book Society by the closing date of entry. Ponies must be named on entry
form. Society rosettes will only be given to ponies registered with the Society or
eligible for registration (i.e. foals.) A best foal rosette will be awarded to the winner
of Class 98 and a best miniature rosette will be awarded to the winner of class 102
Special Prizes: The Ugiebank Marina & Earlswood Ellen Memorial Salver will be
presented by David and Elizabeth Gray to the winner of class 97 following the
Championship.

Class 97
Class 98
Class 99
Class 100
Class 101
Class 102
Mare, with or without foal at foot, 4 years old and over. Foal to be not
less than twenty one days old on day of show.
Foals of mares in Class 97. Foals to be a minimum of three weeks old
on day of show
Yearling colts, fillies and geldings
2 and 3-year-old colts, fillies or geldings
Stallions, mares, geldings 4 years old and over
Miniature, any age, and any sex, not to exceed 34ins maturity
Championship
All horses placed first and second in Classes 97 – 102 are eligible to go forward to the
Shetland Pony Championship.
1st, 2nd & 3rd placed horses/ponies in each Ponies Association (UK) Supreme
Championships qualifying class will qualify. Qualification will pass no lower than 3rd
place.
Entry fees:
Classes 97 - 102 -£10.00 (except for the following) Class 98 - £6.00
Prizes:
Classes 97 - 102 1st - £12, 2nd - £10 3rd - £8 (except for the following)
Class 98 1st - £10, 2nd - £8
