Liquor Control Reform Amendment Regulations
2015
The Administrator of the State of Victoria as the Governor's
deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the
following Regulations:

1 Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Liquor Control Reform Regulations 2009 to—
(a) prescribe a further substance for the purposes
of the definition of liquor in section 3(1) of
the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998; and
(b) make other minor amendments.
2 Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 180 of
the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
3 Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 July
2015.

4 Prescribed substances for the purposes of the
definition of liquor
(1) For the heading to regulation 6 of the Liquor
Control Reform Regulations 20091 substitute—
"Prescribed substances for the purposes of
the definition of liquor".
(2) In regulation 6 of the Liquor Control Reform
Regulations 2009—
(a) in paragraph (c), for "Celsius." substitute
"Celsius;";
(b) after paragraph (c) insert—
"(d) a dry, soluble concentrated substance,
including powders, crystals, capsules or
tablets, that is designed for retail
supply.".
5 Notice of Revocation of Closure and Evacuation
Notice
In Form 2 of Schedule 3 to the Liquor Control
Reform Regulations 2009, for "Regulation)"
substitute "Regulation".
