General Information
H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is a well-respected and well-known scholar who
specializes in various disciplines and still continues to pursue Her life-long learning to enhance
her knowledge and skills in sustainable integrated development. Her intelligence, therefore, has
served as a solid base for Her subsequent involvement in numerous successful community
development activities for the benefits of the country.
The Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Society of Thailand was established in 2004 with
an aim to serve as an effective channel to coordinate research and development among academic
scholars, both domestically and internationally, leading to successful cooperation under the
interdisciplinary approach. On the 31st of May 2007, by Her grace and awareness of the importance
of interdisciplinary work, H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has adopted the
Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute under Her Royal Patronage.
On the Auspicious Occasion of Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 5th Cycle
Birthday Anniversary, the 2nd of April 2015, the Interdisciplinary Committee for Research and
Development, The Royal Society of Thailand is hosting an international academic congress
under the theme of “Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Research and Development” to
celebrate H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 5th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on the 2nd
of April 2015 and honor Her lifelong achievements.

Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Research and Development
The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress, the first International Congress in
interdisciplinary approach in Thailand, will be hosted by the Interdisciplinary Committee for
Research and Development of the Royal Society of Thailand from the 2nd to 3rd of June 2015 at
the IMPACT Forum, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Objectives
1. To celebrate on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri
Sirindhorn’s 5th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, the 2nd of April 2015.
2. To pay tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s lifelong
achievements in various academic, research and development areas.
3. To promote public awareness on the interdisciplinary approach.
4. To promote the establishment among local and international academicians and researchers.
Theme
Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Research and Development.
Topics of Interest
Interdisciplinary activities are activities that involve interactions among two or more
disciplines. The interdisciplinary approach is more than ever required either directly or indirectly
to meet global challenges and development. The topics of interest in the Congress are the following

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress
Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Research and Development
The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress, the first International Congress in the
interdisciplinary approach in Thailand, will be organized by the Interdisciplinary Committee for
Research and Development of the Royal Society of Thailand, from 2 to 3 June 2015 at the
IMPACT Forum, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Thailand.
Abstract and Paper Details
Abstracts and papers must include in the main body of the document a title, names and
affiliations of all authors. We also require a postal address, telephone number and email address
for at least one contact author. The font must be Times New Roman. Only the title must be in 24
pts. font and centered. The names and affiliations of all authors (including the details of the contact
author) must be in 12 pts. font and centered. The rest of the text must be in 12 pts. and justified in
two columns. Follow the below link for an example:

Abstracts and Papers should state clearly:
(1) The main objectives of the paper.
(2) The key issues, “conversations” and/or literature that the paper will address or draw upon, as
well as disciplines
(3) The nature of any data, case-study material, reviews of literature, etc.
(4) What has been found from analysis of data, etc.
(5) The intended/actual contributions of the paper to knowledge and practice in the field of
Interdisciplinary Research and Development.

Publication of Papers
1) Abstracts of all accepted papers will be published either in the e-form or printed form.
2) Selected papers will be included in the Proceedings of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
Congress Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Research and Development to be published
by the Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Society of Thailand (Application for ISSN is in
process).
3) If the author wishes, a page charge may be paid to have the paper published in either the Regular
Issue or the Special Issue (only one and not both) of the International Journal of the Computer,
the Internet and Management (IJCIM), ISSN 0858-7027, which can be found in
www.ijcim.th.org, with Impact Factor 5.49 from Index Copernicus Journal Master List and is
listed in the database of Thai-Journal Citation Index.
