Part 1 - –ONE PAGE
Get the Demographics For SPHS by first selecting under
Level 1 – SCHOOL then check in the Level 2 click STUDENT DEMOGRAPHICS and then
ENROLMENTS then Click the Submit button. On the next screen type in South Pasadena Senior High.
On the next screen it will confirm the selection of South Pasadena Senior High and then click SCHOOL
ENROLMENT BY ETHNICIY. This will bring up the data for the SPHS and the entire District. Click on
the Link for the South Pasadena School District on the Table and this will bring up the entire district data.
Create an Excel Spreadsheet with the Data from the Website.
(Only take the data you need. Do not copy the whole chart.)
 Create a Pie Graph that shows what percentages of students are at each school using the Total enrolled
Data.
 Create a Pie Graph that shows for South Pasadena High School what the Ethnic Breakdown of the
student population is.
Part 2 –ONE PAGE (DATA ON 3rd Page)
1. Find all the Los Angeles Schools and put them and there scores in an Excel Spreadsheet. (ONLY
THE LOS ANGELES SCHOOLS!)
2. Sort the Schools by there API Score High To Low
3. Create Line Graph that shows the different Schools and their relationship to each other.
PowerPoint – Create a PowerPoint about this class.
