If you are considering going to college in
Colorado, complete a COF application. It is
fast and easy!
What is COF?
 The College Opportunity Trust Fund (COF), created by the Colorado Legislature,
provides money (called a stipend) to eligible undergraduate students. The stipend
pays a portion of your total in-state tuition when you attend a Colorado public
institution or a participating private institution.
Who is eligible?
 Undergraduate students enrolled at state colleges and universities are eligible if
they are classified as in-state students for tuition purposes.
 Eligible undergraduate students must apply, be admitted and enroll at a
participating institution.
What else do I need to know?
 Students must be 13 years or older to apply.
 Students 18 years or older are required to provide documentation to prove legal
residence in the United States.
 Students are not required to know where they will attend school prior to completing
the stipend application.
