French 3/ 2015-16

What is C.P.R.?

Each semester you will participate in a variety of cultural projects outside of class. The idea of these projects is to give you a chance to explore aspects of French culture of interest to you, on your own, and get credit for it! Chouette!

Guidelines

Points earned for a project depend on the quality of your work, time spent and evidence of the project or experience carried out. Points listed indicate the maximum you can earn.

All projects should represent your own work. Do not use on-line translato rs’ or anyone else’s help. You will earn a better grade when you use what you know. I’m not expecting your French to be flawless on these projects

– just do your best.

Cite your references (books, websites, etc) and use your own words for all research/reports.

No credit will be given for work without references.

“Wikipedia” is NOT a valid source.

Projects that involve writing should be at least 100 words in length and in French.

Any presentations of your work to the class should be in French.

You may not repeat projects over the course of this academic year for credit.

Project Checklist: Before submitting your projects, please check that:

___ Project number is written at top with max.pt.score (ex. Project #4: ___/50 pt.)

___ References are cited (including internet sites)

___ Written projects are in French, in your own words and contain at least 100 words

___ Oral presentations are in French
