are trying to survive but you are empty emotionally,
financially and physically.
2. When families experience the death of a loved one the
family can experience extreme depression and emotional
discouragement. Take a few minutes each day and pray for
those you know who maybe struggling with the death of a
family member. Call their names out before the Lord and
ask Him to comfort the family.
3. Many people are in situations where their debt is out
of control. The average person seeking financial
counseling is in over $40,000 of debt. The first step in
getting out of debt is to know who much debt you have. Add
up your current debts (credit cards, student loans, car
loans, mortgages, etc.) Then ask God to help you with the
plan to eliminate the debts in your life.
4. How did God use the sermon to give you a plan to
supernaturally improve your finances this season? What are
you going to start doing as a result of the sermon? What
are you going to stop doing?
5. In 2 Kings 4:1-7 the prophet asked the woman what was
in her house that she could use to help her situation.
What resources, gifts, skills or abilities do you have
right now that God can use to help you improve your
financial situation? Think creatively. Write them down and
pray to God that He will help you use those resources to
improve or strengthen your financial situation.
