Some ideas to help with your design






Keep it simple with clarity and conciseness. The key aim is to get your improvement story
across to the audience in an easy to read format
Highlight key outcomes – what is the impact? (Quality / Productivity) Use numbers, tables,
graphs if you can. Graphs of before / after pathways often describe the situation better than
text
include photos to make it eye catching (If appropriate, remember permissions if including
patients)
maybe add in some “quotes”
to comply with best practice, please use plain English and avoid the use of abbreviations
Don’t forget to check for spelling and grammatical errors.
