Communication and Language
Tasting yellow and green fruit and
vegetables – build up vocabulary that reflects
the breadth of their experiences
Where’s my elephant? Show understanding of
prepositions such as under, on top, behind
Making banana smoothies – understand use of
objects
Pirates small world – use talk to pretend that
objects stand for something else in play
Re-enact Peace at Last – join in with
repeated refrains and anticipate key events
Literacy
