35th Annual Fall Awards Show
“Fall into Art”

The Annual Fall Awards Show is a highlight of the
year for the Art Guild at Fairfield Glade
It is a judged show in which members may submit
their artworks that have been completed within the
last two years and have not been accepted in another
judged show at the Art Guild. All works are received,
entered and judged for awards in the following
categories:
(a) Watercolor and acrylic under glass
(b) Oil and acrylic not under glass
(c) Mixed media
(d) Pastel
(e) Colored pencil and B & W drawing
(f) Photography
(g) Three-dimensional
(h) Jewelry
Winning artwork will be awarded first, second, and
third place ribbons within each media category. At the
judge’s discretion, “honorable mention” ribbons may
also be awarded. The top award will be a special
ribbon for the “Best in Show.”

Judge
Lynne Looney
Middle Tennessee Artist, Lynne Looney, acquired
her love of large scale honestly. For over 35 years she
worked as a professional artist designing and producing
one-of-a-kind art projects for a variety of industries
including theater, billboards, special events, murals and
specialty finishes for the Trade.
Lynne's first art lesson was at age 5 and her
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting was awarded in 1980
from the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende,
Mexico. The time living and working in Tropical Mexico
made a lasting impression on her color palette. And the
physical and emotional commitment to tackle a 50' x 80'
backdrop or painted mural is also seen in her smaller
canvases. Strong color, bold lines, and expressive
brushwork are her trademarks.
