REMEMBERING OUR DECEASED
MASS AT DIVINE MERCY
This year we would like to add to our tradition
of remembering those who have died during
this past year. We have always mentioned the
names of those who have died during the year
and lit a candle in their honor. This year we
are doing the same ceremony but are asking
that those who have buried a loved one from
Divine Mercy Parish this year to bring a picture
of their loved one to that mass and after the
candle is lit, to place your picture on either the
Altar of Saint Francis or Our Lady of
Czestochowa. If you would like to participate
in this ceremony we ask that you bring a
framed (no larger than a 5 in. x 7 in.) picture of
your deceased loved one to Mass on the 7th of
November at the 4:00pm Mass. Please attach
your name and phone number to the back of
the picture (all pictures will be returned). The
pictures will remain on the altars till the First
Sunday
of
Advent.
Please
consider
participating in this ceremony to honor our
beloved deceased. Thank you.
ALL SOULS ENVELOPES
Please remember to hand in your All Souls
remembrance envelopes. They will be placed
of the two Side Altars this year.
Eternal rest grant unto them,
O Lord.
DIVINE MERCY ALTAR ROSARY SOCIETY
The Divine Mercy Altar Rosary Society will
meet on Sunday, November 1st at the 8:30am
Mass. The rosary will be prayed before
Mass. Following Mass a meeting will take
place at the parish office. A warm welcome is
extended to anyone wishing to join the Altar
Rosary Society --come and see the good that
the Rosarians do for our parish community.
On Saturday, October 17th, Joan Buckley and
several Rosarians attended
the Eleventh
Annual Altar Rosary Society Regional Mass
and Continental Breakfast at the Church of the
Assumption
in
Wrightstown,
NJ.
We began the celebration with praying the
rosary ,followed by Mass, and a continental
breakfast.
It was a very inspirational
morning. We enjoyed the unity among Sister
Rosarians exchanging ideas and information
for the importance of devotion to Our Blessed
Mother .
PLANNING AHEAD FOR OUR
THANKSGIVING DINNER

Thursday, November 26. All parishioners and
