Founded in 1990, the American International School in Egypt is an independent, co-educational day school for grades PK – 12. It’s student
body is 80% Egyptian and 20% from 48 other nationalities. 100% of AISE graduates go on to attend 4 year colleges and universities worldwide.
The majority of AISE faculty are certified teachers from the United States and Canada; Arabic and French language classes are taught by native
speakers; approximately 45% hold advanced degrees. Average class size at the high school is 19.
All instruction is in English, except for Arabic, Spanish and French classes, and AISE students are typically bilingual or trilingual. Although
English is typically not spoken in their homes, students perform in a demanding college preparatory curriculum.
