What is Wee Wigglers?
Wee Wigglers classes provide a unique opportunity for preschoolers and kindergarten
students to engage in age appropriate exercises that will enhance both physical and
cognitive development. Music, games, toys and friends, it's a fitness party! Energetic tykes
will have so much fun they won't even realize they are developing specialized movement
skills, agility, balance, rhythm and coordination.
What is Art Start?
In this foundational course, little artists will be introduced to a wide variety of materials
and techniques while making fun, silly and beautiful arts and crafts! This class will allow
your child to exercise their creativity while also improving their motor skills as we practice
cutting, pasting and following directions – develop confidence and independence as we
create beautiful arts and crafts projects to take home! (Projects will vary session to session,
so participants who attended in the spring are welcome to attend the summer session.)
Who are Wee Wigglers and Art Start classes for?
Wee Wigglers classes are open to children aged 3-5. Children attend classes independently.
Children may attend 1, 2, or 3 sessions per week.
Art Start classes are open to children 3-6 years old. Children attend twice a week.
When do Wee Wigglers and Art Start classes take place?
Wee Wigglers classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:00-4:45.
Art Start classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:00.
Where do Wee Wigglers and Art Start classes take place?
Classes are held in Miss Sarah’s classroom (1210 Kingston Road). Registrants who are
attending camp/kindergarten enrichment at Better Beginnings are brought straight to Miss
Sarah’s classroom and are picked up from there.
