Welcome you to Oakham Tennis Club for the 2014/2015 year. If you are renewing thank
you and I am sure this will be a great year of tennis enhanced by our new floodlights. If
you are a member for the first time I hope you really enjoy the club for many years to
come.
You will see from the membership form that we have had to increase our membership
fees for the first time in a number of years firstly because we have not done so for a few
years, secondly to help finance the floodlight loan repayments and thirdly to start saving
for resurfacing of the courts will be needed in the next few years. We as a committee still
feel the club is great value and encourage you to make full use of the club.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR ARE SHOE TAGS TO BE WORN WHILST AT THE CLUB, EITHER ON TRAINERS OR
TENNIS BAGS. THESE ARE AVAILABLE FROM RICHARD. PLEASE ENSURE YOU COLLECT YOURS WHEN
YOU HAVE RENEWED YOUR MEMBERSHIP – THANK YOU.
You will also see that it is now possible to pay by bank transfer; details are on the membership form. It is important to email
your membership form to Sarah Chinnery so we have a record of who is joining: oakhamtennis@gmail.com. You can also
pay by credit card and details are available on our website.
As in previous years we offer tennis for all abilities and provide details below of club mix in sessions and team captains
should you want to play in one of our teams. We shall also be running a club tournament over the summer culminating in a
finals weekend on the weekend of September 20th and 21st. An entry form is attached. We also have a great team of coaches
led by Dan Potter and Richard Wilson and there details are below should you want to have private or group lessons.

Juniors may join the mix-in sessions if they have reached the appropriate standard. They will usually have
attended the junior coaching sessions and the decision will be made by their coach.

Commencing Tuesday 8th April. Men meet on Tuesday; Ladies meet on Wednesday, commencing 18.00.
