Research contemporary compositional techniques and use what you learn to develop your own techniques (e.g., use of found objects,
non-traditional sound sources, electronic music/loops, non-traditional notation). Use three of these techniques to create an imaginative
and innovative musical work.
Scoring Criteria:
3-(Proficient) creates a musical work using 3 or more novel compositional techniques
2–(Sufficient) creates a musical work using 1 or 2 novel compositional techniques
1–(Insufficient) creates an incomplete musical work using 1 or move novel compositional techniques
0-(Unacceptable) no response or the performance does not address the task
