City Windsock
1) You must find a recipe that would be from your state.
2) It can be something the state is known for or a recipe
with one of the state’s resources
3) Your project will be a making the recipe at home and
creating a poster for your classmates
 With the recipe on it
 Pictures and sentences of the process and final
product
 A description of how it relates to your state
4) You have the option of bringing the recipe in to share
with your classmates
5) You will present your poster to the class
1) You will pick a popular city from your state.
2) You will make a poster with your city’s name on it and
pictures of your choice that are related to that city
3) You will then roll the poster into a cylinder and tape, glue
or staple it.
4) From the bottom or the poster, you will do the following
facts each on their own streamer

using the following directions
 On one side, you draw your team’s logo and label it
with the city and name
 On the other side you will include the following
** brief history of the organization (4-5 good

** THREE cool facts about the organization
** Pictures as needed
3) You will present your flag to your classmates
1) You will research a famous person from your state
2) You will create an INCREDIBLE poem for your person
along with a picture.
3) You create the a phrase to describe your person using
each letter
