Include details of objectives, innovative aspects, scientific approach, preliminary data, impact, specific work
component to be carried out in the Netherlands or India, cooperation/interaction, lab exchange visits, and
literature references (include full bibliographical details). Please refer to the programme brochure for the criteria
by which your application will be evaluated.
5. Timetable of the project
Please provide the time schedule of the entire project. Specify the activities to be carried out as part of the
project.
6. Scientific embedding of the proposed research
Affiliation with national and international research programmes, national and international collaborations
7. Knowledge utilisation (max. 600 words)
Pease note that the score for the assessment sub-criterion ‘knowledge utilisation’ (which makes up half the score
of assessment criterion 1: “Relevance to the theme of the call and knowledge utilisation” will be determined at
the ALW-office based on your answers to the questions per aspect. The referees and the evaluation committee
do not judge this criterion. Please answer the questions for all 8 aspects:
- 7a.: Beneficiaries identified: Please specify which other scientific disciplines and/or organisations can benefit
from the results of the proposed research (who are the potential knowledge users?).

identified potential knowledge users?
- 7c.: Beneficiaries confirmed: Which potential knowledge users are involved in, and have committed
themselves to the research project? A signed letter of support indicating the nature of the involvement is
required before the application will be processed.

project is finished? In case there are conditions to use the foreseen data center, please indicate how you will
meet these conditions.
- 7g.: Outreach method identified: Do you have a plan to communicate the results of the proposed research
to the under 7a identified potential knowledge users or the general public? Please consider all possibilities, from
a patent to all publication routes not aimed at your peers.
- 7h.: Outreach time schedule and budget: Please indicate the timetable for the knowledge utilisation plan
described under 7g (for instance, after what period is the use of the generated knowledge to be expected?). Also
