While one might think the Bible argues for the existence of God, a closer look would reveal that it simply
assumes God exists. Even though the Bible may not argue for the existence of God, throughout its pages are
supports for His existence. With a partner, search for passages of scripture supporting the existence of God in
the categories below. Write out each text beneath its corresponding category. Then write an explanation why
you believe that text is a support for the existence of God. You must find three texts for each category. You
may use your bible, a concordance, bible dictionary and the internet to complete this assignment.
