PROTASCO LAUNCHES INTERNAL BRANDING TO BE A VALUES-LED GROUP
KAJANG, 9 April 2014 - Protasco Berhad launched their new internal branding as part of their
corporate strategic planning process. The development of Protasco Berhad’s new vision and
mission statements as well as core values took 6 months of precise planning by the
management team with extensive participation from all staff levels.
Over 800 employees across Protasco Berhad’s six core divisions gathered at the one-day
launch event at Protasco Berhad’s Unipark Multi-purpose Hall to welcome the new credo.
Dato Sri’ Chong Ket Pen, Executive Vice Chairman and Group Managing Director of Protasco
Berhad said “The new internal branding reflects Protasco vision to be an internationally
acclaimed conglomerate ensuring growth and delivering value for a better quality of life.” He
highlighted the internal rebranding exercise is important to unite Protasco as a Group as well as
to become a values-led organisation.
Protasco Berhad has made headway into property development and recorded steady annual
growth in its other core businesses - road maintenance, construction, engineering, education
and trading & manufacturing. As a conglomerate with a diversified revenue stream, it is vital that
each employee practises the new corporate core values as a unifying foundation to achieve
Protasco Berhad’s goals.
The one-day launch event included a series of activities which were participated by all Protasco
Berhad employees. The internal rebranding exercise ended with a big shout-out by all staff “I
am Protasco”.
