ADDENDUM TO THE
SOIL SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS PLAN,
COLLINSVILLE SOIL PROGRAM
COLLINSVILLE, OKLAHOMA
Revision 1 – February 6, 2012
Agricultural Areas
This addendum to the Soil Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP), Collinsville Soil Program (CSP),
Collinsville, Oklahoma (Shaw, 2009) presents the procedures for the investigation of agricultural
areas.
1.0
Agricultural and Undeveloped Properties
Distinct residential and commercial yard areas will be addressed in accordance with Sections
2.4.2 and 2.4.3 of the SAP, respectively. The soil samples will be collected and analyzed for
comparison with site-specific cleanup levels established by Oklahoma Department of
Environmental Quality (DEQ). If other areas of the property are used for agricultural purposes
or remain undeveloped, these areas will be subject to a visual inspection to investigate those
specific locations where the owner knows or suspects the placement of smelter debris as fill
material (Visible Smelter Cleanup Plan, Shaw, 2010).
If other areas of a property are not distinctly residential or commercial, but the property has
been platted with City of Collinsville as of July 20, 2009 in anticipation of a residential or
commercial development, the property will be sampled in accordance with Sections 2.4.2 and
2.4.3 of the SAP, using the plat document as the basis for a sample plan. The soil samples will
be collected and analyzed for comparison to the site-specific soil cleanup criteria established by
DEQ.
