Longines stages the “Longines Future Ski Champion” event in St-Moritz from
Sunday 13th of March to Wednesday 16th of March to support and promote youth
skiing.
ENTRIES
The Longines Future Ski Champion 2016 Event is open only to men athletes
born after born after the 15th of March 2000.
The Longines Future Ski Champion 2016 Committee will only accept athletes
proposed by National Ski Associations; independent athletes may not enrol.
For the 2016 version the racers must be men and have the nationality of the
country in which they are recruited.
Each athlete must provide and present the following documents until the 1st
of February:
* a medical certificate confirming that the athlete is in good health
* an official document or identification with photo
If the athlete cannot provide either of the documents he will not be able
to participate
COMPETITION
The Event will take place as a side event of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup in
cooperation with the Local Organizing Committee of St-Moritz and with the
support of the International Ski Federation FIS.

Please note that no FIS points will be awarded in this competition.
The Event jury consist of the Chief of Competition, the FIS race director
and a representative of Longines.
EQUIPMENT
All equipment used by children is governed by the FIS Specifications for
Competition Equipment. Children are required to wear a crash helmet that
conforms to the FIS Specifications for Competition Equipment. The use of
mouth guards and back protectors specially designed for Alpine Ski Racing
is strongly recommended for all athletes.
ACCOMMODATION, MEALS, TRANSPORT
Longines shall organize and cover the cost of accommodation, meals and
transport in connection with the Event for the athlete and one accompanying
person from Sunday 13th of March to Wednesday 16th of March. Any other costs
and expenses shall be borne by the athlete, respectively the accompanying
person.

PRESENTATION OF THE LONGINES FUTURE SKI CHAMPION 2016 PRIZE
The winner of the race shall receive a watch, a trophy and a Ski tickets
package for him and his family (max. 4 tickets).
The winner’s National Ski Association will receive a financial support for
their youth programme with a total value of 20’000 USD.
The award ceremony will take place after the race and is followed by a
press conference including an interview with the winner of the race.
The athlete agrees that photos taking during the event can be used free of
charge for communication purposes before, during and after the event.
Furthermore Longines may cite the names of participants as well as
biographical details.
LIABILITY
All athletes, who attend and participate in the event shall do
own risk. The Organizing Committee and Longines shall not be
for any losses or injuries incurred or suffered by any athlete,
other person in conjunction with the organisation or staging of
so at their
responsible
official or
the event.
GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION
This invitation, the enrolment of the athlete and the accompanying person
as well as any other legal relationship arising therefrom shall be governed
by, and interpreted and construed in accordance with Swiss Law, without
giving effect to Swiss rules on conflicts of law. Any and all disputes that
could arise in connection with this invitation, the enrolment of the
athlete and the accompanying person as well as any other legal relationship
arising therefrom shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of
Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.

The legal guardian hereby represents that they are the legal guardian of
the athlete named hereinabove, that they have the full authority to legally
represent the athlete, and that they are acting on the athlete's behalf
with the athlete's acknowledgement, consent and approval.
The legal guardian in their individual capacity agrees to indemnify and
hold Longines harmless should it be determined by a court that they do not
have the power or authority to legally represent the athlete or act on the
athletes` behalf.
The legal guardian hereby and without reservation or objection, agrees to
the terms and conditions set out hereinabove.
