Je m’appelle:
Due JEUDI LE 20 décembre !!!
Task: You will be creating a calendar in French with French art work and/or photography that reflects
the seasons and weather. You must include the following in your calendar:








At least three different artists and/or photographers must be represented OR photographs of
France. (Be creative, pick a theme-all Eiffel Towers, all countrysides, all castles, etc)
All art work must be credited to the artist or photographers with the name of the piece and the
artist’s name (website link in parentheses next to info) This should be at the bottom right of the
artwork chosen
Three scheduled events in each month with the time written in numerals: rendez-vous à 6h30,
A note section in each month listing three scheduled events that are on the calendar but written in
sentence form with the time. (J’ai un rendez-vous avec Nicole à six heures et demie. )
Two weather expression listed on the bottom left of the picture (no temperatures please)
All 12 months represented (one month per page) with the month centered on each page and the
days of the week in French starting with Monday. (Remember, days of the week and months of the
year are NOT capitalized.
Birthdays of at least 5 different people in your family, or friends, and yourself (mon anniversaire,
l’anniversaire de Maman, etc.)

You will have two days to work on this in class, December 18 and 19th. You may use Madame’s paper and
magazines but you get what you get. If there is something specific you would like, bring it in yourself.

Calendar is easy to read and pleasing to the eye (no jagged or bent edges, neatly glued, color when
applicable, not falling apart, no marker smudges, eraser marks, etc)
