TNCC PowerPoint lectures are
proprietary and will not be distributed
during the course. Plan to bring a pen
and highlighter to class as course
lecture content is presented in the
same format as the TNCC Provider
Manual.
The class has limited seating and
applicants will be accepted on a ‘first
come first serve’ basis. When your
application and check are received your
course manual and acceptance letter
will be sent to you. If the class is full,
your materials will be sent back. If
there are less than 5 participants the
course will be cancelled.

Trauma Nursing Core Course
Course Schedule
The Trauma Nursing Core Course was
developed by the Emergency Nurses
Association and serves as the basis for a
standardized approach to initial trauma care.
Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 – Day One
TNCC content is presented through lectures
and psychomotor skill stations. The course is
intended for registered nurses. Others may
audit the course but cannot participate in skill
stations or the written exam. To successfully
complete the TNCC, the learner must achieve a
minimum of 80% on the written examination,
actively participate in all skill stations, and
demonstrate all critical criteria and at least
70% of all steps in the Trauma Nursing Process
Psychomotor Evaluation Station. TNCC
Providers are verified for a period of 4 years.

to participants who attend the entire
course regardless of their performance
during testing.
The Emergency Nurses Association is
