Formatting rules of the international conference
“Electron beam welding and related technologies”
I.
Submission of the report to the conference
1. Reports
submitted
to
the
conference
on
the
website
http://www.ebw2015.mpei.ru in section "Add report" or by e-mail
ebw2015@mail.ru
2. If the report suggests several authors, it should be noted all of them in the order
in which they will be listed in the program.
3. The text of the report need to send in PDF format on the e-mail
ebw2015@mail.ru. The file size should not exceed 50MB !
II.
Content of the report
File a report should contain the following parts (strictly in that order and
described formatting rules):
1. "Cap" the report includes:
- UDC code (The Universal Decimal Classification);
- Title of the article;
- Information about the authors: full name (at first the initials are written, then
- the author's name, if there are several authors, they are listed in one line, separated
by commas), the name of the organization fully (if there are several organizations,
they are listed, each on a separate line in the middle; if the authors are working in
different organizations, it is reflected by a superscript);

2. Summary outlining the content of the report (up to 0.5 pp.) in Russian and
English languages;
3. Key words in Russian and English languages;
4. The main text of the report in Russian and English languages;
5. References: Do not allow links to unpublished sources.
III.
Text, formulas, sections, links
1. The text should be typed in Times New Roman size 14 pt through the half
interval on a sheet of A4 vertically. Fields - 2 centimeters on all sides. Indention
- 1.25 centimeters.
2. In the text should not be hyphenation.
3. All formulas should be typed in the format of MathType.
4. None of the formula should not be wider than 100 mm. If the formula does not
satisfy these conditions, you need to break the formula into pieces within the
meaning of each part and type in a separate window MathType and placed on
a separate line (as selected formula).
5. For the notation of variables can only use Latin and Greek letters, and for the
names of the units only Russian.
6. References to the formulas drawings and literature are given respectively in
formats: «(N)», «Fig. N »and« [N] », where N - a natural number (dashes are
not allowed).

Links to the combined figures should be in the form of "Fig. Na ', where N positive integer, and - the Russian letter.
8. Recalls formulas can only backward (to previous).
9. Pictures and literature should be strictly according to order of their first
appearance in the text.
IV.
Pictures
1. Figures should be in good quality (resolution must be at least 300 dpi for
photographs and 600 dpi for graphs and diagrams).
2. The font size of signatures under the figures should be 10-14 pt, And the
designation of values should be printed in italics and the numbers - in normal
type.
V.
Bibliography
1. References should be preceded by the word "Bibliography".
2. Link to the source must be given in the language of the specified source.
3. Do not give the same number of links to several sources.
4. With reference to the author's books are indicated in the following order: name
and initials, title of the book, volume number and name, city, publisher, year,
number of pages. Names and initials of the authors printed in italics. The rest
of the text is printed in normal font.
For Example:
Sivukhin D.V. The general course of physics. - T. 4. Optics. - M .: Science, 1980. 555 p. Korneev V., Kiselev A. Modern microprocessors. - SPb.: BHV-Petersburg,

General rules:
A) The authors printed in italics; the initials are written after the surname; between
the last name and initials put only a space; there is no space between initials;
B) If not all authors are listed, you need only write the name of the first author and
add «[et al.]»;
C) Title of the book is written without the quotes, but with a dot at the end; the
word "Vol" is written in abbreviated form ("V."); after the volume number
preceded by a point; volume name is spelled without the quotes, but with a dot
at the end;
D) To a group of "City: Publisher, year." I put a dash; between the city and
publishing a colon; between the publisher and the year of a comma; in the
absence of the publishing house between the city and the year of a comma;
E) Moscow and St. Petersburg are written in abbreviated form "M" and "St.
Petersburg"), and all other fully; name of the publisher written without
quotation marks and without the word "publishing"
F) The word "page" is written in abbreviated form "p.";
G) If the authors are available, do not specify the editor.
5. When referring to a book without authors (edited) in the following order are
specified: title of the book, volume number and name (if any), names and
initials of editors, city, publisher, year, number of pages.
For example:

6. When referring to a scientific article in the following order are specified:
name and initials, title of the article, the name of the journal in which the
article was published, year, volume (if any), number of pages. For example:
Sukiasyan E.R. Conversion of directories: approach to the problem. – Scient.
and tech. b-s. – 1993. – № 8. – P. 24-37.
David J. Huggins, May Marsh, Mike C. Payne Thermodynamic Properties of
Water Molecules at a Protein-Protein Interaction Surface. – J. Chem. Theory
Comput. – Article ASAP
7. When referring to a report in the conference proceedings in the following order
are specified: surname and initials of the authors, title, name of the event, in
which conference proceedings are published, the subject of the event, year,
volume (if any), number of pages. For example:
Adamovich K.G., Vaulina O.S., Statsenko K.B., Khrustalev Y.V., Petrov O.F.,
Fortov V.E. Application of Green-Kubo formula for the study of mass transfer
processes in quasi-systems in a dusty plasma RF-discharge // Proceedings of
the 50th scientific conference of MIPT «Modern problems of fundamental and
applied sciences». – 2007 – 8 V. – P. 78-81.
General rules to complement the above:
o name of the event is specified on the name of the magazine;
o theme of the event is spelled in quotation marks after its name;
o only the year of issue of the conference proceedings is specified.
8. When referring to other sources should adhere to the following general
principles: the reference must clearly specify the source, provide information
about what can be found in the source, and be as brief as possible.
