Homework Policy
Homework is assigned regularly during the week.
Assignments are to be turned in the day they are due.
County policy states that homework may count for ten percent
of the six weeks grade. Homework is assigned for mastery of
skills taught. If your child is absent, he/she is responsible for
making up assigned work. Please feel free to visit our web site
to check on daily homework assignments and upcoming
events.
Hurricanes Rules
1) Be prepared for class with appropriate materials.
2) Show respect for everyone including yourself.
3) Code of Conduct and school dress code will be
enforced.
4) Students will allow teachers to teach and other students
to learn.
5) ALL bags must be kept in lockers.
A Message from The Hurricanes
Dear Hurricane Family,
Welcome to Wilson Middle School. We are so
excited to have your child on our team and we
anticipate a wonderful year. Our team teachers are:
Tara Breeden, Reba Becks, Jackie Bryan, and Seth
Davis. Resource personnel working with our team
include: Cindy Lavender and Susan Manos. Our team
believes that communication between school and home
is vital to your child’s success. Our planning time is
2:15-2:55 every day. We can be reached by phone at
that time or by e-mail.
Students will receive a planner that will be used to
keep track of all assignments and upcoming events.
We ask that you review this planner with your child on
a daily basis. Please feel free to communicate any
concerns you may have in the planner.
We are looking forward to an exciting year at WMS.
