Playing a key role in the development of Value Based Program programs refer to a partnership with healthcare
providers in which a portion of total provider reimbursement is based on efficiency (cost management) and improved
outcomes (better quality). The Value-Based Program Delivery Platform allows for the sharing of member, claim and
care coordination information that is essential to supporting more coordinated, efficient and quality-driven healthcare.
My analytical work has been presented to top IT Management and Business areas to make enterprise wise
strategical and critical decisions.
Responsibilities:
 I am responsible for building requirements and design for several data exchange and integration interfaces.
Many interfaces are significantly critical and have enterprise wide visibility such as integrating more than 500,000
members of other Blue Cross Plans into the existing BCBSMA Datawarehouse for Quality Improvement, Provider
Contracting and assigning Provider to PPO members based on claims history for overall care coordination and
incentive payments.

 Wrote complex SQL queries to do research on host eligibility and Claims data. This was to ensure that incoming

200,000 patients. The data is sourced from EMRs stationed in more than 2500 facilities. The data is submitted to
Medicare mandated CROWNWeb program (www.projectcrownweb.org). The patient and clinical data is use d by the
Medicare for Administrative and Quality Improvement and Performance (QIP)
My responsibilities:





Working with the CMS to gather on-going CROWNWeb requirements
Working with Fresenius Subject Matter Experts (SME) to elicit, analyze, document functional
requirements to meet CROWNWeb needs.
o SMEs include- VP Corporate Research, Corporate VP of Quality Management, Directors of Clinical
and Billing System, Clinical Managers and Operational users.
 Creating the Data Mapping requirements for Extract, Load and Transform (ETL) programs to load Patient
and Clinical information from the several Billing and Clinical Systems to newly created Data warehouse of
the CROWNWeb project.
 Working with development team to create and submit EDI transactions via batch to CMS
 Creating complex SQL queries (including OLAP function) to do Data Analysis, Data Quality and to create
analytical reports for Clinic Managers.
 Represented Fresenius on the bi-weekly CMS calls.

Interviewed application users to elicit requirements to create new clinical web application that allows clinicians
