CLAHRC-GM Nurse Academic Fellowship

0.8WTE funded Nurse Academic Fellowship for one year commencing September 2015

We are able to offer one 0.8WTE funded early post-doctoral* Nurse Academic Fellowship for one year commencing September 2015 funded by the NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied

Research and Care – Greater Manchester (NIHR CLAHRC-GM) and in close collaboration with the

School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work. This Fellowship is available for UK registered Nurses working in the community in the NHS in England. Funding covers backfill up to 0.8WTE. The

Fellowship will enable the award holder to make an important contribution to clinical practice whilst supporting their development as a potential clinical academic leader. Over the Fellowship and supported by a mentor, the successful candidate will be expected to increase their research skills in an aspect of CLAHRC-GM work, continue to develop their clinical skills, demonstrate increased independence as a researcher, submit articles for publications arising from their research and improve their generic management and leadership skills. They will also submit a 5000 word report outlining how they have achieved these expectations.

Closing date for Fellowship applications is: 13 th July 2015.

Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place on 29 th July 2015
