Research interest:
I am interested in studying chemistry of natural products and the relationship between their
structure and thecorresponding biological effect, starting from the structure activity
relationship to the optimization of the lead structure using drug design and development
different approaches especially rational drug design using computational method so that finally
a new effective therapeutic agent can be semi- synthesized or totally synthesized.
Teaching interest:
I am interested in incorporation technology and educational software in teaching. I prefer to using
non classical method of teaching like seminars, case studies, workshops and self-learning project
that enhance and support the team work skills, I believe that good teacher is a guide to his
students in the educational process and he has to encourage them to be creative and open
minded. I also believe in providing simulation environment that is close to the nature of the
expected jobs to give the students the skills needed to be Eligible and effective in the society.
