We are currently seeking graduates with or without commercial experience for to join our 2013 Software
Engineering Graduate intake.
Role Summary:
It depends on your preference, you may be interested in joining our customer facing services team, where
there is ample opportunity to travel or maybe you want to focus your career on core product development,
test engineering or customer support. Graduate Software Engineer has the opportunity to work with and be
closely mentored by industry leaders working on a range of software related tasks.
The Graduate Software Engineer must be able to take and complete specific, well defined, value adding tasks
within set time frames.
Principal responsibilities:
Some of the tasks to be carried out by a Graduate Software Engineer include:






Reading and understanding Proposals, Functional Specifications and Design Specifications.
Ability to take a well defined module design specification and implement the module in a supervised
environment.
Effective Unit and System Testing of modules and systems.
To design and write up sections of a Design Specification in a supervised environment.
Working on site in customers premises where necessary and to interface constructively with
customers and employees of partner companies.
Undertaking Software Engineering and related tasks.

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's Degree related to Software Engineering, ideally with a telecommunications
module/stream.
Software Design and Development (Commercial or College).

Content of final year project and ability to describe it and your role clearly (include an overview in
your CV)
