Case 1 – Dr. Hickey Dx: Coarctation repair. Saccular aneurysm at the site of aortic coarctation. To review CT
scan and MRI. Surgical referral.
Case 2 – Dr. Crean Dx: Prior clipping of multiple coronary cameral fistulae. Now presents with large vascular
malformation in the RV. To review echo, cardiac MR, CT, cath and stress nuclear study. Management planning.
Case 3 – Dr. Horlick Dx: Coarctation of the aorta, treated with stenting in 1996/97. Psuedoaneurysm across the
stented segment. To review cath, echo and CT scan. Interventional referral.
Case 4 – Dr. Horlick Dx: 23 year old female born with aortic stenosis and coarctation of the aorta. Repair with
end-end anastomosis and aortic valve repair in 1992. Ross-Konno in 1997. Percutaneous PVR in 2009 for
pulmonary regurg. Extertional chest pain. To review cath, echo, MRI and CP study. Surgical referral.
Case 5 – Dr. Roche Dx: 48 year old female with trisomy 21, post repair of partial AVSD and subsequent left AV
mechanical valve replacement. LV apical aneurysm; unrepaired coarctation of the aorta. Mild hypertension. To
review cath, echo and CT scan. Interventional referral.
Case 6 – Dr. Roche Dx: Metalic mitral valve since 1995. Chronic moderate mitral stenosis. Small
hemodnamically insignificant residual restrictive peri-membranous VSD. Asymptomatic. To review TEE and cath.
Management planning.

2. Highlight the need for vigilance when prescribing digoxin due to its complex drug interactions and narrow
therapeutic range.

indications/dosing of anti-digoxin Fab fragments.
