Show Rules
1. Advanced Entry fee is $4.00 per animal and must be received by the show secretary no later than June 15, 2016.
Late Entries are $9.00 per animal. NO Day of Show Entries will be accepted. Only same class substitutions-limit
2 substitutions per class allowed. NO Refunds.
2. Junior and senior does separately sanctioned by ADGA. 2016 ADGA rules shall govern this show.
3. The order of the show is not subject to change.
4. Show premiums will be paid corresponding to the judge’s award in the show ring. Judge’s decision shall be final.
5. All registration papers will be checked. Animals under 6 months may be shown on a stamped duplicate
application. No copies will be accepted. Proof of ownership will be the name on the registration papers.
6. Base date for ages is the show date: June 18, 2016
7. Any milking animals showing over-distention of the udder is subject to discrimination by the judge. There is no
pre-show milk out.
8. All animals MUST have been shown in regular type class to be entered in a group class.
9. Health Regulations: animals may be inspected prior to unloading. Any animal with pinkeye, sore mouth,
abscesses, etc. will not be permitted to unload and will be asked to leave with a forfeiture of entry fees. Rabies
vaccination is not required, but is encouraged.
All Out-of-State animals must be accompanied by either a VT Exhibition Permit (good for 180 days) or
VT Import Permit (good for 30 days). Permit may be obtained from the VT Dept of Agriculture, Food
and Market 802.828.2421. Certificate of Veterinary inspection dated within 30 days of request of a
permit is required.
Acceptable “Official ID” is a tattoo matched to registration papers…
Directions to SVDGA Clubhouse-Rt. 9 Marlboro, VT. From North or South-Take exit 2 off Rt. 1-91 at Brattleboro. Go
West on Rt. 9. Clubhouse is approximately 12 miles on the right. Watch for signs.
**Overnight parking is allowed. Water & lights around clubhouse.
Some pens are available.

Age for youth base on age as of January 1, 2016 – Please list youth’s DOB on entry
Class S1-Senior 14-19 years
Class S2-Junior 10-13 years
Class S3-Novice 9 years & under or showing for the first year
Showmanship class will begin at 9:00 am
