9/23: Interim Grading Period. There is no grade posted in IC for interims, but 9/23 is
considered the interim point.
Middle School SAT:
All Worthington middle school students will have the opportunity to take the SAT test on
Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Worthingway Middle School. Registration materials will
be available from your school’s administrative office beginning October 4. The fee is
$51.00, and the registration form and check should be sent directly to the College

Tdap Vaccine Reminder:
All students are required to have proof of the 7th grade Tdap vaccine on file by Friday,
October 27th. Many of the local clinics are now out of the vaccine. The Columbus
Health Dept. still has plenty of the vaccine available. Please call 645-7945 for a current
listing of their hours. Any student not having proof of the vaccine on Friday October
27th will be required to stay home until verification of the vaccine is received. Students
not in compliance for the vaccine will not be allowed to enter the classroom on that day.
Yearbook Sale:
The yearbook sale is almost over! Please order before October 25th if you want to get
the best sale price! After October 25th, the yearbook will be $28. You can order online
at jostensyearbooks.com or send in cash or check (made payable to Worthingway).
If you have pictures at after school events, please send them to Mrs. Baker so they can be
added to the yearbook! The easiest way is to burn a CD with the photos. You can also
email them to Mrs. Baker at JBaker2@worthington.k12.oh.us.

invited to play during their lunch/community time on most Fridays during the school
year. Students who are caught up with their schoolwork are also able to play during
assist on Fridays. The teacher-advisor for the club is Mr. Smith. He is working with Paul
Hammock, a retired teacher from the community who is volunteering his time and
expertise. Questions regarding the club can be directed to Mr. Smith at
csmith@worthington.k12.oh.us.
