Reading and Language Arts Lesson Plans Lesson Date: Jan. 25-29, 2016 Week 20

Reading

Mon I can research information and background for the novel, “Fever 1793’

Procedure; Students will continue reading the novel, Fever 1793” today. Pacing of the chapters

Tues will be based and determined on how much we can accomplish in each class. We will follow the same plan each day of reviewing the material from the day before, introduce the new material, reading and discussing the text, and completing the packet. Quizzes will follow each packet.

Students should be studying the new vocabulary every night so when they are quizzed on the packets, they will be prepared. The nightly reading of the chapters should be recorded on their reading logs. Students should be completing post-it notes as they read.

Homework: Finish any classwork; Reading Log due Friday;

I can define and develop the vocabulary from the novel.

Procedure: Continue reading the next two chapters and complete the questions in the packet.

Take post it notes, Answer the comp. questions in the packet, study the vocabulary for a quiz after the four chapter packet is complete.
