Tips

This report provides totals for each classroom identified by a Class ID. It is important to understand how Class IDs should be
used to make sure that your class enrollment counts are accurate. Normally each group of students receiving instruction in a
specific location during a given time period will share a single Class ID. The one exception, where all the students in a specific
location during a given time period will not share the same Class ID is if two groups of students are being taught separate
course content by two different teachers. See the Course Section tab of the CALPADS File Specifications (Forms) for a definition
of Class ID. See the Fall 2 – Data Population training presentation for examples of how to use Class ID.
