Each methods shall have a clear laboratory identity

Total uncertainty which covers the whole range of measurement / or if possible additional uncertainties which cover the whole range of measurement. If the uncertainty is expressed in other than 95% confidence it shall be quoted (equivalent with 2 times standard deviation).

Internal control is provided using one or more of following: A. Statistical methods (for instance control chart).

B. participation in inter laboratory comparison (round robin, ring test). C. Use of reference material / standard. D. Use of certified reference material. E. Replicate measurement made on the same test object (double analysis).
