Ingestion may also result in nausea and vomiting. Eye : Corrosive to eye. Skin : Corrosive to skin. Inhaled : Unlikely to be a route of exposure. CHRONIC : Chronic oral administration of copper salts in animals has been shown to result in liver damage. FIRST AID : Swallowed : If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. Eye : If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a Doctor. Inhaled : Not likely to be a route of exposure PRECAUTIONS FOR USE Exposure Limits : Inhalation exposure to the product is not likely to occur. Personal Protection : Skin : When opening the container, preparing the footbath solution and using the prepared footbath solution, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, a washable hat, PVC apron, elbow length PVC gloves and impervious footwear. Eyes : When handling the concentrated material, a face shield should be worn to prevent splashing into the eyes and onto the skin of the face (AS 1336). Respiratory : Not likely to be a route of exposure. Flammability : Not flammable. SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION Storage and Transport : The product is a dangerous good class 6.1 with a subsidiary risk of Class 8.The product should be stored and transported in accordance with the Australian Dangerous Goods Code. The product should be stored in a polyethylene container away from alkaline materials. Spills and Disposal : For large or small spills dike area with inert absorbent material such as vermiculite. Absorb spill with material and place in sturdy plastic (preferably polyethylene) containers. Dispose of to landfill in accordance with local, state and federal government regulations. Do not allow spill to enter waterways. When containing spill, wear protective clothing as described in Precautions For Use section. Fire/Explosion Hazard : The Hazchem Code for the product is 2X. Other Information : The product was not a skin sensitiser when tested in guinea pigs.
