Technical Essential Question: How do I create an assemblage box with paint,
images, drawings, and sculpture to symbolize someone important to me

YOUR TASK:
To create an assemblage box through painting, drawing, collage, and sculpting that
symbolizes a family member/extended family member of importance to you
STEPS TO COMPLETE THE TASK:

1. Complete PART 1 “Interview”

3. Complete PART 3 “Thumbnails and Checking for Requirements”
4. Complete PART 4 “Construction procedures”
5. Complete PART 5 “5 Paragraph Biography/Artist Statement”

Part 1: Interview
Due Next Class period
The interview portion of your project is the most important part of you your project
development. You will use the information you gather to produce the symbols that reflect
the person you are going to represent.
Your interview must include 10-12 different questions. You will need to find out the
following required information:
1. Personality, Characteristics
2. Goals
3. Dreams
4. Interest,
5. Hobbies,
6. Work
7.Heritage
8. Culture
The other questions can be about whatever you feel is important. (A meaningful
experience, a life changing experience, who influenced them, their religion etc..)
