CROSS COUNTRY (ODE) to start after hacking is completed



the entry form. Team will not be accepted on the day)

All competitors must be relevantly associated with the nominated services or
agencies.
All competitors must be 18 years of age or over.
All competitors must be registered online with the 2014 NSW Police Games.
THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION.
All participants attend and participate at their own risk. All competitors must
complete the attached disclaimer or entry will be declined.
These games will be run in accordance with the EA regulations. Failure to comply
with these and the relevant EA regulations will result in elimination from this
event.
Dogs are permitted however must be on a leash or contained at all times.
Australian Standards approved riding helmets and correct riding footwear must
be worn by all riders when riding including warm up areas.
Back protectors MUST be worn during the Cross Country phase.
Dressage callers and whips NOT permitted for One Day Event Dressage Tests
however they are permitted for Open Dressage tests and combined training.
Participants competing in the Combined Training are not eligible to compete in
the One Day Event and vice versa.
Service or Agency uniform is preferred however traditional competition attire is
also accepted
2015 NSW Police Games medals will be awarded to third place in all events.
Special Sashes will also be presented for high point awards and hack
championships and supremes.
Competitors competing in One Day Event may only compete at one level per
horse.
Competitors competing in Open Showjumping can only compete at a maximum of
one open round and one level Rescue Relay. This may be at consecutive levels.
The only exception is horses competing down in the Combined training or One
Day Event Rules for rescue relay www.horseoz.com/Clubs/RESCUE_RELAY/rescue_relay.htm
Competitors competing in Dressage can only compete in a maximum of 2 tests
per horse and only on two consecutive levels. The only exception is horses
competing down in the Combined training or One Day Event. This will be at the
discretion of the Coordinators.









Competitors entered in the One Day Event or Combined training will also be
automatically entered in open class in that dressage test and Show jumping
round.
ODE dressage - If a competitor is riding down 2 levels from their open dressage,
penalties MAY be awarded to keep it fair. This will be decided in consultation with
the competitor at the discretion of the coordinators.
Competitors competing in Hacking events can only compete in ONE rider class
and ONE hunter or hack height class ie. Novice, intermediate or open. Everyone is
eligible for bareback, best educated, pairs and 4’s.
Horses competing in the Hack classes can not compete in the Hunter classes and
vice versa
Double bits are only accepted in the Intermediate or Open Hack or Hunter classes.
Winners of classes in Hack and Hunter are eligible to compete for Champion in
Novice, intermediate and open Hack and hunter respectively. Competitors that
placed second to the eventual Champion are eligible to challenge for Reserve
Champion.
The winners of the Rider classes are eligible for Supreme Rider.
The winners of the Hack classes are eligible for Supreme Hack. Hunter Hacks are
not eligible for Supreme Hack.
Novice - Has not won a similar or higher level class at a similar or higher level
competition. Snaffle bit only.

Intermediate - Has not won a similar or higher level class at a similar or higher
level competition.


Open - Has won at a similar or lower level at a similar or higher level competition.

The coordinators reserve the right to strip competitors of points and title should
competitors enter the incorrect category. It is the competitor’s responsibility to
enter the correct category.
Horses competing in first season hack must not have competed in any discipline
prior to March 2014 and is open to horses of any age.

POINTS –
Hacking, dressage, sporting and SJ - 1st 3 pts; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt
One day Event – 1st 9 pts; 2nd 6 pts; 3rd 3 pts
Combined Training – 1st 6 pts; 2nd 4 pts; 3rd 2 pts
Hacking – Supreme Rider 6 pts; Champion 5 pts; Reserve Ch 3 pts. Nil points for
Supreme Hack

All Participants MUST BE A MEMBER of the Police Equestrian Club in order to
compete. Complete the attached Membership Form and return with Separate
Payment of Membership with entry form.

All competitors must register online at www.nswpolicegames.com.au
On line payment is the only option available to enter your horses other fees paid
separately.
Membership is mandatory and is to be paid separately and sent with your entry form and
Disclaimer Form
Camping and Yard Fees must be paid at the time of Entry. Separate payment must be made
and sent with your entry form otherwise you will not be allocated one. You will be provided
with a sticker that must be attached to your vehicle throughout the competition. If you do
not pay prior to entry camping and yards will not be allocated. We have been short on
camping and yard fees by a significant amount in the past so this is the new process to avoid
shortfalls in fees.
Fees for the entire 2 days of competition are as follows:

$16.60 per night per powered site. $8.80 per night per unpowered site. PAID AND
FORWARDED WITH ENTRY FORM
