The Livestock Research Innovation Corporation and the Poultry Industry Council are pleased to
advise that our Call for Letters of Intent for poultry-related research projects is now open.

PROJECT SUBMISSION
Project leaders are invited to submit a Letter of Intent to the Livestock Research Innovation
Corporation. Letters of Intent should be written in plain English using the attached form, and
provide sufficient information to allow someone not familiar with the research to understand the
intention and how the research will be conducted and how it will benefit the poultry industry in
Ontario. Please refer to the DRAFT version of the Ontario Poultry Industry Research and
Education Strategy, which outlines priority research areas, and ensure that your LOI aligns with
these priorities.
An accessible contact person must be listed as the review process may involve communication
between the scientist, LRIC, and members of the Ontario Feather Boards’ Research
Committees.

It is the responsibility of the submitting institution to ensure that the Letter of
Intent has been received by LRIC.
