Santa Barbara CRA Page 2 of 3 President’s Message Happy Birthday President Ronald Reagan Born February 6, 1911 Happy New Year, and we look forward to 2013 being a year of good health, gratitude for the abundance we have, and an appreciation for the positive values we hold dear. Our SBRA volunteers who serve on our board give their time and interest to keep us together as a strong conservative club. Our intent is to create a forum for sharing political views and current events. We hope to provide a nice venue for interesting and informative guest speakers, meeting like-minded people, and meet new friends. As we look forward in this new year, the board of our SBRA is in dire need of volunteer assistance with a few tasks at hand. We need your help with newsletter responsibilities, and membership chairs. We encourage members who can give some of your time to maintain the functions of our club. We must have volunteer support to keep us afloat. No one wants to see our SBRA group dissolve, but we do need additional volunteers. Please contact me, or any board members, with any interests you may have to offer. We meet once a month, and welcome anyone to join us at our board meetings. We strive to have a supportive team, a positive environment, and share the responsibilities needed to be accomplished…and we actually have fun! Please consider the giving of your time to the only local conservative club this community has to offer. Ronald Reagan called the CRA “the conscience of the Republican party”, and each state-wide club, or unit, is the backbone for the CRA to stay strong and influential. Our conservative political voices need to join together and stay together. It is to our own benefit to encourage each club to grow our membership base, and to be a viable influence against the strong liberal voice which is permeating our culture at this time. Think about it, and we look forward to working with you to maintain and grow SBRA into what we all will be proud of for this New Year. Thank you, fellow conservatives, Linda Foster President, SBRA Page 3 of 3 Santa Barbara CRA SANTA BARBARA REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY A LOCAL UNIT OF THE CALIFORNIA REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY 2013 NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION (This is not a renewal application) I understand that I must be a REGISTERED REPUBLICAN to become a member, and remain a member, of the CRA/SBRA.
