1. TRACK INFORMATION AND REFERENCE RULES
Trois-Rivières street circuit is 2.433 km (1.5207 miles) in length and all races will be
run in a counterclockwise direction.

All racing events are in conformity with:
The FIA International Sporting Code and its appendices;
ASN Canada FIA National and General Rules;
Series rules and bulletins;
These Supplementary Regulations.
All racing event rules can be modified or altered by the Race Director.
In case of doubt or ambiguity about the formulation of the Supplementary
Regulations, the Race director’s decisions are final unless an official appeal is
posted to ASN Canada FIA under the rules of the Authority.
Each competitor must be familiar with these Supplementary Regulations and any
other specific decision.
A competitor is responsible for the conduct of his/her teammates and could face
sanctions for an inappropriate behavior.
Modifications can be made by the Race Director or the Clerk of the Course and
competitors will be notified by the Event Steward and the official notice board.

worn at all times when on circuit.

There are two paddock locations and each Series is assigned to a specific paddock.

Except for Formula Tour 1600 who will be
allowed to leave on Saturday at the end of
the day’s activities, no transporter will be
allowed to leave this paddock before the end
of all activities on Sunday. GP3R security
personal will indicate the directions to exit the
site safely.

Nascar Sportsman Lucas Oil
a) Each team will be limited to their respective allocated area.
b) Traffic lanes must be kept clear of any objects, awnings or anything that could
obstruct the way or the free flow of circulation for emergency vehicles.
c) All vehicles circulating in the paddocks area must do so at low speed and in a safe
way.
d) Mini motorcycles (pocket bikes) are prohibited in the paddocks and on the GP3R
site.
e) Golf carts and ATV vehicles are allowed but only one (1) per Registered Racing
Car and owner must get the pass at the registration office. Drivers of such vehicle
must be 16 and older. Failure to comply with these rules can result in penalties for
the team.
f) Team’s that do not bring their own golf cart can rent one at the GP3R for 125$ per

g) Both paddocks will be closed from 22h00 to 06h00 the next day on Thursday, July
30, Friday, July 31, Saturday August 1, Thursday August 6 and Friday August 7.
Permission to be in the paddock during these hours requires prior approval.
Anyone not complying or not respecting these rules will be sanctioned and/or
expelled without other warning. The series officials of each participant are
responsible of the conduct of each team in their paddock.

3.2 Parking
Due to limited space in Paddock area, no passenger cars will be allowed in this area.
Team’s passenger cars of NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, Porsche GT3
Challenge, Canadian Touring Car Championship, Micra Cup, Formula Tour
1600, VCCX Side-by-Side Vehicles Cross, Formula Drift Canada and FestiDrag
Castrol will be limited inside the circuit to one (1) vehicle per entrant and they will be
parked in a designated space located near the Paddock.
Up to two (2) other team’s passenger cars per entrant (Series named previously)
will be allowed in an outside parking area (P12). Teams will access this parking area
using Des Forges Boulevard (North direction) to the De La Terrière Street on which
they will make a right turn. Entrance will be about 500 feet on their right and it will be
identified as team parking P12. Parking P12 is located near the Ryan walkway
bridge (corner #8) behind the Police Station.
Once parked, team personnel will access the Paddock area by using the Ryan
walkway bridge nearby (corner #8).
Team’s passenger cars for Nascar Sportsman Lucas Oil will be limited to one (1)
vehicle per entrant and they will be parked in PADDOCK # 2 (Salon de jeux Site). Up
to two (2) other team’s passenger cars per entrant will be allowed in either P11
(Hippodrome) or P12 parking areas upon availability.
Other parking areas are available outside the circuit.
3.3 Motor homes and camping areas
Motor homes will not be permitted in the paddock or parking areas unless
arrangements have been made prior to the event with the GP3R organization.
A camping area has been established outside the circuit (East of corner #8). Teams
should request space allocation in this reserved parking area in advance by
contacting the tickets office J.A.Thompson at 819-370-9797.
Nascar Week End
Motorhomes, RV trailers and trailer tents will pay $125. CAN (+ taxes) for the first
week end.
Tents will pay $60. CAN (+ taxes) for the first week end. Campers have access to
restrooms and showers. Additionnal fees of 25$ will be added after July 14.
Rallycross Week End
Motorhomes, RV trailers and trailer tents will pay $100. CAN (+ taxes) for the first
week end.
Tents will pay $50. CAN (+ taxes) for the first week end. Campers have access to
restrooms and showers. Additionnal fees of 25$ will be added after July 14.
Combo
Motor homes and trailer tents will pay $168.75. CAN (+ taxes) for two week ends.
 Tents will pay $79. CAN (+ taxes) for two week ends. Campers have access to
restrooms and showers. Additionnal fees of 25$ will be added after July 14.

Note: Special «vip spaces (with services) are available for motor homes only,
please contact GP3R office for more information.
Cars parking passes can be picked-up at the credentials.
3.4 Old tires, gasoline containers and fluids
Fuel spillage on the site or in the paddocks will not be tolerated. Fluids may not be
drained on the pavement or grass. Drivers and crew members will be liable for cost
of pavement damages or environmental fines in case of noncompliance.
Waste oil and liquids - Promoter will provide with Safety Kleen, used oil recycling
and recovery services for waste oil and liquids in each paddock area. Competitors
must use this service for disposal of oils or any other liquids from racing cars that
could pollute the environment.
Holes - Holes are not permitted in any areas on the site. Teams are financially
responsible for any damage to these surfaces.
Fences - No one is authorized to change the layout of the paddock or the pits by
moving the security fence.
Trailer legs - Where teams detach trailers from tractor units, team’s trailers legs
must be on solid bases of at least ¾’’ (plywood) x 2’ x 2’.
All used tires, fuel and oil containers, drums, etc. and all leftover fuels and oils must
be removed by the teams of each series at the end of the event.
3.5 Pets
Any pet brought on site must be leashed at all times.
4. PIT AREA AND FALSE GRID
Fuel drums must be carried back to a safe place outside the pits area after the filling
up of the fuelling rigs. Filling up of fuelling rigs and refuelling must be done in
compliance with the safety rules of each Series, GP3R safety regulations and city of
Trois-Rivières Fire department safety code regulations.
No smoking in pits area and false grid at all times. These rules will be strictly
enforced per local fire code regulations. This code includes areas of fuel transfer and
storage.
Anyone under 18 years of age will not be accepted in pits area including false grid
except competitors.
Competitors and crew members will only be allowed in the pits and false grid areas
during their own practices, qualifying or race sessions. They must carry their
credentials and comply with the clothing regulations (long pants, sleeved shirts,
covered shoes fireproof clothing, etc.) of each series.
Fire extinguishers: all teams shall have a fire extinguisher of at least 10 poundsABC rating in good operating order and located in the paddock area at all times.
No cars will be allowed to go from the pits area to the paddock by using the false
grid in an opposite direction.
4.1 Paddock #2 pits and track access.
Nascar Sportsman Lucas Oil competitors will access the pits and track from corner
#10 and must do so under the supervision of the Security group, False grid and track
marshals. More information will be given at their mandatory Drivers meeting.
5. GENERAL INFORMATION
5.1 Radio communications
All officials, competitors, teams, suppliers and sponsors who are directly or indirectly
involved with the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and using one or more radio
frequencies must be in possession of a valid permit issued by Industry Canada
(Federal Government). To obtain your permit, please contact:

All personnel or organism who will not comply with these instructions could face fine
or foreclosure of radio equipments by Industry Canada.
5.2 Grandstand seating
Drivers and crew members do not have access to any grandstands unless they have
a valid paddock access credential and the appropriate reserved grandstand ticket
giving access to such grandstands.
Please note that a holder of any such ticket must be correctly stamped every day at
the entrance. Anyone not complying with the stamping procedure will see his ticked
removed.
5.3 Fuel
Standard commercial regular fuel is available on site. It is located in the paddock
near the gate at corner #7. All teams and series requesting special racing fuel must
make their own arrangements with suppliers (SUNOCO, P1 racing fuel) to be

5.4 Catering and Hospitality
No teams may host any hospitality activities in the paddock or in their reserved area.
Teams wishing to host such activities must contact in advance: Jessika Lessard

Any outside caterer is not admitted. Possibilities of hospitality activities on site are
available but limited.
5.5 Commercial activities
Commercial activities of any kind (merchandising, advertising sampling, sales,
promotion, display, solicitation, exhibition, etc.) will not be permitted nor tolerated
unless prior arrangements have been made with Jessika Lessard Voisard GP3R
administration’s office. 819-370-4787, 1 866 866-4787, or e-mail address:
jlessard@gp3r.com.
Anyone not complying with these rules will be liable to a fine or be expelled of
the site without any other warning.
6. ENTRIES
a) Entry fees are stipulated by each Series’ regulations
b) No refund for technical non-conformity of a race car.
c) By paying an entry fee the competitor engages himself to follow the rules of the
series concerned and the GP3R Supplementary Regulations.
d) The Organizer (GP3R) may refuse an entry without giving any reasons.
7. TECHNICAL INSPECTION
All race cars from the various Series will go through technical inspections from their
own Series inspector with the collaboration of GP3R officials (scrutineers). Location
and time TBA.
8. WEIGHT OF CARS
Each series will provide their own weighing scales in conformity of their series rules.
9. QUALIFYING AND POSITION ON THE GRID
a) Official qualifying times determine grid positions.
b) A maximum of forty five (45) cars is authorized for practice and qualifying
sessions.
c) A maximum of forty (40) cars is authorized for a race.
d) The Race Director has the authority to refuse starting permission to a competitor
who he considers too slow and who might pose a potential danger to himself and to
the other competitors.
10. FALSE GRID
a) All required Series must have their vehicles on the false grid at least ten (10)
minutes before the start time for a race.
b) All vehicles coming to the false grid after the two (2) minutes call must take up
position behind the pack with no authorization to regain their qualifying position.
Those vehicles will be placed on a first come first serve basis.
11. STARTING PROCEDURES
a) Rolling starts for all Series
b) At least one lap with the pace car.
c) If the official starter decides that the starting lap is not in conformity, this or those
laps will count in the race’s totals (laps and/or time).
d) To be considered a starting competitor, a race car must cross the start/finish line
at the green flag of the race.
e) Competitors not complying with this rule will get a NP designation on the official
results.
12. SPECIAL PITS AND TRACK RULES
a) No more than five (5) persons (driver included) admitted in the pit lane for pit
stops, NASCAR Canadian Tire Series competitors refer to Pit Rules of your Series.
b) Excessive speed in the pit lane will be sanctioned under each Series regulations.
Unless otherwise specified, a speed limit of 64 km/h / 40 miles/h will be applied.
13. TROPHIES
Trophies and awards are presented to winners after the final race of each series. A
Competitor who is not present at the ceremonies will not get his/her trophy.
14. MISCELLANEOUS
a) Official Series results will be posted at their own Series trailer or headquarter.
b) All drivers must attend the mandatory driver’s meetings (date and time
shown on the official Series’ board) or they will be sanctioned under the Series
regulations.
c) Decisions taken and approved during driver’s meetings must be brought to the
attention of the Race Director to be part of the Supplementary Regulations.
d) Each driver and team must be aware of the Supplementary Regulations.
15. TIMING AND SCORING
a) All competitors must have a transponder aboard of each race car for timing &
scoring use and are fully responsible for its good working condition during all the
weekend.
b) All competitors not using their own timing & scoring system must have a
transponder compatible (AMB) with GP3R’s official timing & scoring supplier: DL2Timing (www.dl2-timing.com).
c) The entries list of each series must be sent to DL2-Timing one week prior of the
event to fill the data base.
Transponders will be available for rent or purchase from DL2–Timing, email:
DL2.Timing@gmail.com, phone: Luc Veillette Pres. 819-384-2239. Rental or buy of
such must be paid by credit card only.
Competitors who would like to buy a transponder must contact DL2-Timing or
GP3R’s office a month before the event and give a credit card number.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Any Series part of GP3R 2015 using its own scoring and timing system must take all
the necessary measures to ensure that their system is entirely compatible with DL2Timing’s equipments for transmission of live data to race control, press room, TV
compound and Jumbo screens without altering any of GP3R’s official timing &
scoring’s installations.
Those Series’ equipments must be installed in the Timing & Scoring compound
located in a tower south of Race Control unless authorized by the Race Director. A
Series not complying with these conditions shall be sanctioned.
Under the Quebec Provincial Law and GP3R’s supplementary regulations, it is
strictly prohibited to smoke at various places on the site such as buildings, lodges,
pits, false grid and places where fuel or other flammable products are stored or
manipulated at any time. People not complying with these rules shall be sanctioned.
