For the Creation of Online Continuing Education Courses for DC’s
Premise:
The expectations of technology are ever-growing as younger generations are entering the professional arena.
Organizations are finding themselves in a position to ‘keep up with technology’ and the expectations of a
younger and more technical clientele, yet many service entities and non-profits simply don’t have the
manpower, time, or budget to implement things like online learning into their strategic plan.
Impact Writing’s goals in the State Association sector are two-fold:


To create a menu of high-quality, in-demand online education courses for chiropractors that are easily
accessible to practicing doctors
To engage State Associations in a no-risk, minimal-work, profit-share program which will allow them
to offer online education to their members, yet not have to take on the risk, staff time, and expense
involved with running an eLearning course platform and engaging in course development.
o Thus allowing state associations to continue to focus their energies and good work on
important issues and the political advancement of the chiropractic profession.
As we unpack a plan to partner with state groups we are looking for win-win model that provides a very
straight-forward plan for profit-share. We are developing a variety of courses online and will continually be
adding new offerings. We would encourage state groups to survey their members regarding what topics might
be of most interest to help aid us in choosing and prioritizing new topics.
We would create a custom site for each interested State Association, branded with colors and desired logo.
Your members would then visit the site to sign up for coursework. Tracking for enrollees would happen
automatically and a profit-share percentage would automatically be placed in the Associations paypal account
or we can report and pay associations quarterly via a mailed check. A certificate of completion for each course
would also be automatically generated.
This model offers a no-risk start up for organizations, brands the course site to the organization for
professionalism, and then offers an ongoing profit-share. The Organization will enjoy minimal added
responsibility, increased offerings to members, and a new revenue stream. Many online course providers offer
organizations just a few dollars per course. Impact Writing Solutions provides a sliding scale model that gives
your organization anywhere from 20-35% of the gross cost of each course. Please see the following outline to
view a quick summary of responsibilities under this business model.
Thank you and we look forward to the possibilities!

The above breakdown reflects the percentile of the gross cost of the courses that will go to the Association.
When reflecting upon the Net (after IWS expends funds for platform charges, paypal charges,
research/development charges, office supplies and utilities, equipment, and software subscriptions for
interactivities, service for student support, etc) the percentage that the Association is actually getting goes up
significantly.

and on other sites at the discretion of Impact Writing
Either party can dis-engage from the partnership at any time with 60-days notification in writing to the

would be honored until completion.
Course Menu Plan
As we develop our menu we plan to balance content, it is prudent that we supply some of the basics/state
requirements, but our future focus will be in providing hot-topics that are more robust/ fresh and aptly reflect
the future of healthcare and chiropractic.
Our ‘starter’ menu might include the following types of topics. Our hot topics are being researched and
developed. An * indicates that the course is available now. A # indicates that the course is nearly ready. Others
are under development.

Site Mock-Up
On the following page please find mock-up screen shots of what your Association learning site could
potentially look like. In essence, the site would link from the Association website and seamlessly lead to what
would appear to your learners, as an ‘extension’ of your home site.
Certainly images, verbiage, and color schemes could be changed to your liking; this is simply a sample to
provide visualization….
We look forward to the possibility of working with your Association to bring an online learning portal to your
members in a risk-free, profitable model for your Association.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this potential partnership!
