Welcome to Lady Lumley’s PE department. I hope that you enjoyed the taster lesson in our department and
that you now understand how the course will be delivered. The following suggestions will allow you to access
the start of the course and give you a rounded view of the topics within the specification.

For the start of the course, you should:
1. Complete a C.V of your sporting achievements in the areas that you feel you will be assessed in.
2. Create a timeline. Start at 1850 and finish in the present. Along the line list 15 memorable/sensational
historical firsts from the world of sport. E.g. The first black footballer for England. The first world cup.
