Installation
1. Preparation
a. Waterproofing must be properly installed and substrate must be properly prepared
b. Install flashing
c. Fluid applied membrane waterproofing: continuous rate
d. Install elastomeric sheet to reinforce cracks, joints, penetrations and roof drains
e. Apply second layer of membrane waterproofing
f.
i. Substrate must be stored in a dry place between 50 and 90 degrees F out of
the sun.
ii. For colder weather, the product must be heated at least 50 degrees F for 2
days prior to installation, and only take out the material within 2 hours of
applying it
2. Enkadrain and Enkaretain
a. Flexible and lightweight material allows for sloped and different shaped roofs

c. Relieves Enkamat of excess water
d. One side is made of polymer fabric to keep drain from clogging with minerals
e. Very strong and durable so that it does not squeeze shut and keep water from

a. Top mat is used for temporary strength and hold. This layer allows for roots to
anchor and settle in.

Installation of Flashing
a. Anchor sheet metal flashing and trim and also seal joints and seams with joint
